Hello everyone, first time posting on these forums. I'm hoping some of you can help me with my situation. Im guessing that I've had Lyme for about
5 months. I quit smoking maybe once or twice during that period (not for long). When I dud quit, I felt like vomiting when eating, couldnt get good sleep, I was VERY easily fatigued, couldn't get a satisfying breath, and had a "heavyness" feeling on the left side of my chest. I was unable to workout. One day I pushed my self hard exercising and had to quit BC of my heart. 30 mins after exercise my pulse was around 85-90 and showed abnormal heart beat using the blood pressure monitor. I finally ent to the doctor (after probably about
4 months in Lyme) they took mi y blood and the results cane in the mail about
a week later saying I was diagnosed with e. They then prescribed me doxycycline 100mg for 3 weeks. I didn't feel any better except for the fact I could eat with out the feeling of vomiting. Smoking is the only thing that alleviates my symptoms however I'm currently quitting for awhile so I can heal, and get a job after I heal. Anyways I went back to the doctor and they gave me 3 more weeks of the same prescript
ion. Which I'm currently 1 week into. I don't feel like in getting better, I'm tired of waking up at 5-6 every morning. I want to be physically (and mentally) in shape like I used to. A week ago I noticed when I smile a certain way on the right side of my face, it was twitching. And it still does to this point. I have a feeling my doctors don't know how to approach Lyme. It seems the most their going to do is throw antibiotics at me. I've considered seeing a specialist, however my family is poor and we are on Medicaid. I'm 18 years old and this is not how I want to live my life this young. Any help would be much appreciated.
