Has anyone found any cure for visual snow or anything that helps? It's definitely one of the most annoying symptoms because its always present :(

Is visual snow different then floaters? I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well NJLymee. The good news is that you have found us! Hopefully others will chime in here as I have not had - I don't think, visual snow.

Have you found an LLMD yet?

NJLymee, can you describe what it looks like? and if you can see it with your eyes open and closed or just when they are open.

It's hard to describe, almost like everything I look at has moving static in front of it. This website actually gives a good visual image of it.

It's only visible when my eyes are open but when they are closed I feel my eyes tremble and I see staticy flashes. (Sorry for the poor description I dont know how else to explain it)

I have 24/7 visual snow. Was one of my first noticeable neuro. symptoms. I'm a year in to treatment. So far, I still have it. It is much better at times though. When I'm herxing or flaring bad, the visual snow is bad. On days when I feel better, it's barely noticeable. I think it's neuro. toxins and CNS overactivity.
My LLMD said that she expects that it will eventually go away with lyme, bart, and babs treatment.

Yes it was my first symptom as well. It came in spells at first but as I started to feel worse it became 24/7. I'm glad to hear that it is starting to get better for you ...gives me some hope! I am curious to see if I test positive for any co-infections as well.

I started pinella last week and it seems to have helped the eyes a bit. There were days where I could hardly read because everything seemed fuzzy, even with 2.5 reading glasses.

My doc told me my visual snow is what a lot of his other Bart patients have.

Thank you mom2nine ill have to look into that! Kdawg, I'm very curious to see if I have Bart when my test results come in. Does anyone know how accurate the Bart test is? I'm wondering if there's alot of false negatives/positives with the bartonella antibody panel?

I'm glad I finally found someone else that has this! Visual snow is definitely a lot different from floaters.

I wonder if Lyme is related?

I too suffer from VS and am wondering how it will respond to Lyme/Bart treatment since it is currently getting worse on a daily basis. Was anyone else's progressively getting worse? Did the progression change or stop?
