Hi Lymerunner!
The dry skin brushing is really good for your skin and because you will be taking off the dead layer of skin, your skin will be much better able to release the toxins that it has.
To dry skin brush, first buy a soft, natural bristle body brush, like this one - although it does not need to be any particular brand:

Then you want to start brushing lightly, in small circles, either from top to bottom (don't forget the soles of your feet!) or from bottom to top, always working toward the heart.
So if you start with your arms, start at your finger tips and work inward, then move on to your feet and work from the soles of your feet upward (& toward your heart).
