Thank you for the welcome!
When I say I'm healed and not in remission, is more like a psycho 'attitude' that is counting.
It's been full 8 years in remission, no treatment, no symptom. Lyme ruined my life for full 4 years, day and night, with very little breaks in between. It almost handicapped my baby, put her in wheel chair at least twice, it caused me and her encephalitis, it literally almost killed me and almost damaged her forever with TBE.
I see the picture not like a cancer patient, but like a Hepatitis C patient or a herpes patient or a candida patient. Or a Tuberculosis patient.
Who in the planet says 'I'm in remission from candida'?!!
I guess if I kept relapsing, I would say, I'm in remission.
But as I don't, despite new tick bites, every single year (I already got bitten this year, just a month ago), shall I say 'remission'?
I believe that our minds play tricks on us, specially on the immune system. I did a course of psychokinesiology with people following dr. K, Seattle.
Believe me or not: the fact that your inner self believes you are ill may actually make you remain ill and not able to heal!¨
So it makes a huge difference to me, when people ask me how I am doing, to tell them: I'm fine, I'm well, I'm healthy.
And that equals: I'm healed!
the same way I do not answer the question 'how are you?' with:
'I'm in remission from Candida albicans, Candida parapsilosis, Borrelia burgdorferi, Borrelia garinii, Babesia microti, Ehrlichiosis, herpes viruses, Mycoplasma pneumonia, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Bartonella henselae, mononucleosis etc etc...'
It makes no sense to me.
People would simply flee from me if they only start listening the first names of pathogens.
The same way we do not keep saying to others 'I'm in remission from Candida parapsilosis', well I do not keep saying 'I'm in remission from both Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia garinii'.
Because it isn't true: We are all in remission of so many pathogens we have no idea about
. Like all those fungal infection, candida infections, they never really leave your body (that is not their function, to leave the body, anyway....).
I prefer the option:
How are you?
I'm fine, thanks!
I explicitly leave the word remission away, because otherwise, imagine the list of pathogens I shall say I'm in remission!!
I would like to have a healthy social life again!
