LLMD IN NJ

I am going to Dr. S tomorrow in Howell Nj I have heard some people have success and others haven't what should I expect? Also are there any other good llmds in NJ (south, central, north), Philadelphia?


I have been sick for 4 months not sure if I will stick with dr. s so looking for alternative llmds

Hmm just my two cents on Dr. S. Yes he is all of the above, aloof, possibly has aspbergers syndrome (very smart but lack social skills). But he has helped me tremendously. What I appreciate is that he includes herbs in his care. I was having problems with yeast and my other LLMD only knew to give me diflucan, well that wasn't working, Dr. S put me on a couple of herbs and natural remedies and the yeast went away(for now).

My last Dr. was President of ILDS talked all the time but had me seeing PA's that knew less than me about lyme. Dr. S seems to know his stuff and will answer your questions if you ask. All I care about is getting well and I will switch to a chinese herb or natural care once he gets me symptom free.

Also he will see me every two months instead of every month and I can have Saturday appointments.

Go with your gut, but give him a chance.

I saw Dr S for the first time last wk and I agree with everyone but like flowergal said, I'm willing to give him a chance...he seems to know his stuff and you have to bombard him with questions. I just want to get better already. If I need to change Drs, I will def not hesitate, I've been sick long enough.
