My neck has been swollen off and on for 6 months, with pain radiating to my right ear and jaw.
I was diagnosed with Lyme 6 weeks ago. Have treated with with 3 weeks of doxy, currently treating with colloidal silver and immune boosting supplements. I've been feeling a lot better except for occasional neck swelling and foot pain.
4 days ago my neck swelled up again and I began to have severe tooth pain in a molar that was root canaled 6 years ago.
My dentist doesn't see anything wrong with my teeth and referred me to an endodontist (tomorrow)
2 days ago my right check began to swell and the dentist put me on Amoxacillin.
Last night I woke up with numb face and lips.
Dentist doesn't think the swelling is from my tooth - I'm thinking it is an infected root canal, but he's the dentist . . .
I'm hoping the Amoxacillin kicks in soon.
Anyone else have swelling of cheek and numb lips with Lyme? or does this sound dental?
I will have that tooth pulled in a heart-beat if it's infected,
but if it's Lyme what do I do?

That is interesting. I have not heard of this - it sounds like an allergic reaction. I hope the endodontist can help.

Could this be Bell's palsy?
