I just wanted to wish each and everyone of you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year with renewed health!!! You all mean so much to me and others here, you are like family! :-)

I know that things can be tough this time of year, but do all that you can to just 'be in the moment' and enjoy the time with your loved ones - even if you can't be there as long as you wish. Every moment we get is special, all we have to do is see it that way.

Anyone who must travel in all of the different weather that is across our country and others, please, please be very safe!!! I sure would hate to hear that on top of these infections, one of us has to deal with having had an accident either in a vehicle or on foot (slipping on ice or other things!). So PLEASE be careful out there!!

These are my pre christmas thoughts..............

It soon will be Christmas time
And we all have rotten old Lyme
But I'll tell you something
I'll be having a binge
I don't care if gluten's a crime smilewinkgrin

Thank you for the Christmas wishes! I hope everyone has a great holiday and we can get at least a couple days of reprieve!!

Tickledpink I really liked that poem and I am going to completely roll with it. :)


I am hoping to feel well enough to be able to go to the Christmas celebration with my family. If not I am going to hang at home with my doggies.

I too wish everyone on here a good and hopefully relaxed Christmas.

I hope we may be able to enjoy it with as less stress as possible.
We will only be celebrating Christmas Eve at my sister's place. Christmas day will be spent in a vegetative state in the sofa :-)

Merry Christmas! I just had my family Christmas last night. It was fun but people were so loud I was forced to go to my room and curl up in a ball. LOUD NOISES.

I also wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and be safe if you are traveling. 

And Tickled, great poem!  I had an early Christmas with my boyfriend this weekend (he drove to me) and due to the coming weather we decided it's best if I don't drive 2 hours to him; icy mountain roads, etc. 

Here's to cheating on all diets!  turn

Yeah, let's get out the sugary apple pies, pumpkin pies, Christmas cookies with lots of sugar on top, and the list goes on!  And let's not forget about the glutin filled stuffing if one is cooking turkey, yeah!!  smilewinkgrin

We've just made gingerbread men and women and children :-)

And,we have decorated them with everything that I'm not supposed to eat...........do I care? Not for the next 3 days and then I'll be "good" again.

I'm with Tickled Pink in regards to the "ginger" bread men LOL!!!!! It's funny because I will be pretty healthy this holiday because my Nana is a diabetic and we cater to her diet and now everyone caters to mine LOL. But if my Uncle's mother in law makes that red velvet cake...I'm having a slice!
