Thank you for the reply. I do not know if I am infected however i have been experiencing a range of odd symtoms the last four years. In particular, the last two.
In the summer of 2009, I remember having a "bullseye rash" on my left arm. No pictures, after asking my mother, she remembers it too. It was the size of a quarter, raised around the edges, red and dry. After doing some reading, it sounds that it may have been ringworm. I never recieved a diagnoses and it several weeks, I remember it lingering, it went away.
In the fall of 2009, I experienced very odd and unexplainable muscle and joint aches all over my body. They were very intense and could not be explained by any activity I was doing. It was particularly painful in and around my back. This lasted, again, several weeks and then went away.
In 2010/2011, I began experiencing chest pain and heart palapatations. They were daily and joins seeing a cardiologist and undergoing bouts of blood work and a few EKGs I was again left without a diagnoses but was assured my heart was in perfect health.
In late 2011/early 2012 the chest pain continued but was now accompanied by heartburn. The heartburn, like the chest pain and palapatations was daily and in response to every type of food, even a bowl of cereal. My GP prescribed my Zantac and it provided relief. I stayed on until the summer of 2013. After losing weight as changing my diet, I no longer experience heartburn daily (unless I ask for it) and my chest pain/palpations have seemed to subside.
Now the symptoms which create the most cause for concern. Around the same time the heartburn began, late 2011/ early 2012, I began experiencing sinus pressure, daily. It was most prominent along/in my upper front teeth. No congestion, just daily sinus pressure. I was prescribed antibiotics (in total ended up doing about 3-4 weeks on them) for a sinus infection but no relief. This sinus pressure has continued daily until this very day. CT scan from ENT reveals a deviated septum, 6ml cyst and sinusitis of left front sinus but ENT could not explain my persistent symtoms, and offered no treatment.
During mid-late 2013, I began experiencing the following: brain fog, tremors, frequent urination, dizziness, numbness in hands and feet, insomnia, cravings for sugar and carbs, blurred vision, anxiety, vibrating sensation in my head and hands, lethargy - constantly tired, and most recently a cobweb sensation on my face - everyday - it is painless but feels like I have hair on my face all the time, it sometimes feel like I am going to lose control of my facial muscles. Also, since August, muscle spasm, mainly in my calves but at times other parts of my body. This list is not necessarily exhaustive but it's what comes to mind now. It has just seemed endless and almost impossible to keep track of everything. My GP pats me on the back and tells me I look great. I am beginning to lose hope I'll ever feel well again.
Thank you so much for reading.
