This post got me curious so I wanted to find out how cold it has to be to kill ticks. Bad news-cold doesn't do it.

But I did find a beautiful (really) picture of a frozen tick.

All I know is that it is cold!!!!!!!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I do love my having blazing fires in my fireplace though.... Yeah!!

-6 in the Appalachians. I imagine they died "for awhile" unless they were in someone's house or on a dog.

I still can't believe a simple insect can carry so many diseases with absolutely vicious symptoms.

I've heard conspiracy theories, but it's a little hard to believe those.
