Update: Appt is Tues, 1/21 at 1 pm
Here I go.... tomorrow at 1 pm is my first appointment with a local llnd! I got his info from my daughter. She manages at a christian bookstore, and had told me about him. She didn't know his last name, and we were praying he'd show up soon. Well, he did and I now have a promising direction in my lyme journey.
I phoned him today, we spoke, he phoned me back and I have an appt tomorrow! Yay!
His website is promising. He has a similiar spiritual belief system that I have, so that's a big plus for me. He has a very good track record of patient's positive gains, some quickly, some more slowly. (He even has testimony available from past clients.) From our conversation today, he stated that he is very sensitive to each individual's own herxing, and he addresses each accordingly. He doesn't like things to go too fast, as that could be problematic and scare people off of treatment.
I appreciate him saying this. I look forward to talking with him tomorrow. I have a list of questions ready, and I'll have my son/gf with me for support....and to drive me. I no longer drive due to my heart issues, dizziness, finger/hand numbness, and vision issues, to name a few. Hopefully all of this is soon to change.
And, for one hour he charges 1/3 what the llmd did! Plus, if a patient isn't able to pay, he will still treat them, as he has a PIF program(Pay It Forward). Amazing.
Seeing a llmd didn't pan out for me, so my next step is the local llnd. I'm so happy my daughter knew of him. I wasn't able to find him via the web doing a search until I knew what to look for.
What a job it is, and the high amounts of energy we use, dealing with lyme/co. Whew.
Here's to EVERYONE'S health!
