Recommendations for ionic foot bath

Hello everyone. I have been using an ionic foot bath at my chiropractor for 40$ per session and I always feel much better after so I was looking to buy one for home use.


I've searched a bunch of forums and haven't really seen any recommendations for quality ones to buy. I know there are ones that are really expensive and go for a couple grand but I would like to spend no more than 500$ If possible.

Does anyone have one that they would recommend or know of a certain brand that is proven? Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

I live in Europe so I don't know if this will be much help.

I bought a Bionwell ionic foot bath on amazon.de(Germany)about 18 months ago and have been using it ever since.

I think I paid about 400 euros and I know they deliver world wide,I love it...........I also know that it has been instrumental in my healing process.

I use it for 5 days on the run,detox using Hydrogen Peroxide and Epsom Salt baths for 10 days and then repeat the cycle.It works for me :-)

Garden, Didn't you try the Ionic Foot Bath at CS? Toby and I love using it. It's a great way to detox. We are fortunate to live in the Portland Metro area because they offer this healing modality - along with others - on a donation basis. I just wish they were closer to us.

No, they were always in use and I think I needed to make an appointment to use them. We've only been there twice I think since it's a long drive. I think I'd rather not use one that has been used by so many people too, not know how well they are cleaned after each use.

That's true....you do need to make an appt. to use one. This is to give everyone a chance since it is so popular. I know for a fact they clean the baths really well after each use. It would be a way for you to try one since you are curious. It is a long drive though so I do understand how that is. We feel the same way when going to Dr. W. Toby doesn't like cities either so he is wary of going to the Portland Lyme Support Group.

It would be hard to schedule since we'd combine it with a trip to see Dr. D. and stop to see some some friends of my folks. Maybe some day, though.

I don't like going into Portland very much either and avoid it whenever I can.

I understand. We run into some of the same problems. I hope you get a chance to go back someday too. Maybe we can do it at the same time. Toby and I are hoping to make it to the next Lyme Support Group meeting. Hope to see you there!

sparty013, maybe you should google it to find reviews since you're not getting very many responses here. I know that makes it harder, though. That's the problem with some of the alternatives, just not as many users as other treatments. Maybe I'll do it and see if I can find anything useful. I'd just like to know if they're much better than a detox foot soak to make it worth the extra money.

It's just hard to tell if the info. on the net is true or not. There are plenty of positive reviews too, but any that use the water colors to convince people to buy them may not be honest. Everyone is after money these days, doing whatever they can to make a sale.

Have you ever tried an Epsom salt foot soak to see if you feel better from that too or any other kind of foot soak to see if there's a difference? It might be worth a try before you buy one. I feel better after doing a foot soak and so does my daughter. I believe it's from the magnesium and the hot water relaxing us.

Hopefully somebody else will chime in with some suggestions for you.

Wait for a deal on those Dealfind/Groupon sites. That is where I bought my voucher (speaking of which I need to use it before it expires).

Garden, I agree with you. It's one reason Toby and I will probably stick with going to CS instead of buying a Rife Machine. I'm sure there are ones out there who will take advantage of people who are looking for alternative ways to heal. The prey on the weak and vulnerable to make a buck. We have benefited from using the Ionic Foot Baths and many who go to CS have told us how it has helped them. I wouldn't dismiss it as a good way to detox. People need to do their research.

Thanks everyone! I have done epsom salt baths and they do help but not as much as the ionic footbath. I know some people believe they don't work but I definitely feel much better after. I will continue to look for some different reviews. Thanks!

It's good to know that you had a comparison.

I just posted those negative reviews for people to compare to the positive reviews. It is a hard decision since there are so many out there and some are probably better than others. Let us know if you find a good one.
