I'm always so scared of posting protocols because to be honest when I was sick, before I found my doc, I was all over the place with all these protocols I had found on the Internet.. Like cowdens or Buhners.
Ill tell you about
some of the herbs I took and what they did and yes, I can list all the things that did not seem to help.
Things that did not: cowdens complete expensive protocol, lol...sida, cordyceps, isatis, cats claw, skullcap, cryptolepeis, hottyunia, Japanese knot wood, red root... I know there were a couple more. I tried lots of things that just made me worse ;) I am not a subscriber to the "you must herx hardcore" for treatment to work so if you feel terrible taking something you should soldier on. I used to believe that. I tried that many times and I was completely burdening my poor body processing all that crap.
Things that helped me: diflucan, nystatin, b5, b12, l-mthf, molyb, anatumul, enzymes, probiotics, OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT, berberine, diet modification, azithromycin, ( my Lyme bands started disappearing as I treated, slowly.. But then I had to take that Zithro for the ear infection and bam! Energy and no more Lyme bands. I took the Zithro back in sept so the change has been lasting. I had my labs taken the day before starting Zithro). Butyrate, biotin, lactoferrin, triphala, and essential oils. I apply them topically as well as atomize them for inhalation. I also upped my water intake significantly and took detox baths a couple times a week before buying my head out sauna. I think your head being out is really important. I do not think our chronically ill autonomic nervous systems handle head in saunas and extreme heat around the brain well, especially with our high ammonia burdens already wrecking cognitive havock.
