I have a couple. One is a song. It's not "For healing" but it's relevant. I showed it to my loved one with Lyme.
First off, here is the song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSPfeTwl8Kw
Lyrics:
"Pick it up. Pick it all up, and start again.
You've got a second chance, you could go home.
Escape it all.
It's just irrelevant.
It's just Medicine.
It's just Medicine...
You could still be what you want to.
What you said you were, when I met you.
You've got a warm heart.
You've got a beautiful brain, but it's disintegrating from all the medicine.
From all the medicine.
From all the medicine.
Medicine.
You could still be what you want to be.
What you said you were when you met me.
You could still be what you want to.
What you said you were when I met you.
When you met me. When I met you."
As from dealing with depression myself in the past I had my own forms of "Medicine" I guess you could say... In regards to my loved one, she feels she's losing herself, forgetting who she was, deep confusion. And the treatments she's starting have obviously given her up days and down days. "It's just medicine". She will find that she is still herself. She will find that, I believe it.
And another quote, about faith:
"We can tell other people about having faith... what we have faith in, what we found important enough to fight for. It's not whether you were right or wrong, but how much faith you were willing to have. That decides the future." - Solid Snake
That one is from a video game from 2001, dumb I know... I get it, but it reminds me to have faith. It reminds me to not give up.
One LAST quote from me from one of my favorite band members, Oliver Sykes, the original quote is much longer, but the last part of it is pretty great:
"There’s glimpses of heaven in every day. In the friends that I have, the music I make, the love that I feel… I just had to start again." - Oliver Sykes
I hope any of these help in some way and that they mean something to someone. =]
