I am 28 and had a bulls eye rash, flu like symptoms and paralyzed in my legs 10 months ago. It went on for 5 weeks then I got some better but lots of other symptoms. Anyways I finally found a doctor who would listen to all my crazy symptoms and tested me for Lyme (I had never heard of it), and I came back CDC positive. That was a month ago. I have two small children (4 and 6) and my husband is self employed. I have not been able to tolerate any of the meds my LLMD has put me on so she is recommending me to look into treatment facilities to restart my system before treating anymore for lyme. What was your experience with the Hansa Center. I don't have a huge budget but we can sacrifice for me to go there. BUT if it doesn't work at all I literally will not be able to afford another treatment facility for a long time. Literally years. Please be nice I am worn out and sick of mean people about lyme :) ha.

Awww. You don't have to worry about us being mean about lyme!!! This is where a lot of us come for support. I'm sorry to hear that your meds are not working. Myself, and several others on here have used herbs/homeopathy to get better. Have you thought about consulting an herbalist near you to help with the lyme? That might be more affordable then Hansa. Some have also done the at home protocol with Hansa and had good results so maybe you can start with that?

Why don't you order Lymogen or Borrelogen from them together with Neuro-Antitox and see if it helps you. It takes about four days to arrive. That way you will be on SOMETHING and not wasting time while you are trying to do your research. I am waiting to go to Sponaugle on 4/7 and I started Borrelogen and Lymogen so hopefully that will hold me till I get to Florida. What helped me most and started me on my way to healing were colonics.

Hi tmcyorky and welcome!

I suggest a combination of what opugirl and lymebabe said, before considering going to Hansa read Dr. David Jernigan's book called "Beating Lyme Disease" so you understand his thinking and why he treats the way he does.  The only place I know to buy either his e-book or soft cover book is at:

I personally used his "Healing at Home" protocol from his first book (similar to the newer book) and I have been well for 8 years now.

Thank you all! I just ordered Dr. Jernigans book! I'm really excited now! I actually am looking into MD that also is an natural med doctor as well. My LLMD is a natural doc as well but my case has been difficult bc of multiple chemical sensitivities. Thank y'all for being so kind :) I'm so new to this and am finding it hard to know who to talk to!

tmcyorky, good luck with this all--its doubly hard with young kids as well. People on this forum are awesome and are beyond nice. There are several people who have Lyme and young kids as well and I'm sure they will be a great support to you.
