Just recently got an EIA and western blot blood test done. Lyme IgG/IgM AB came in at 1.17(flagged HIGH), Lyme Disease Ab, Quant, IgM is <0.91(negative), Western Blot was negative/ absent expect for IgM p23 which is present and flagged "abnormal". So according to the CDC, I don't have lyme. Unfortunately, I feel like I have lyme, which prompted the test. Just wondering where to go from here, besides a CD57 test and finding a llmd in my area?

The do not have a reliable test. Many doctors look at exposure, clinical symptoms etc. There is a very good chance you do have lyme. You need to find a lyme literate medical dr to help you. Good luck.

Band 23 is specific to lyme. I have that also. I may not be CDC+, but I have lyme, bart and babs. You can start a new thread saying Looking for a LLMD/LLND in (your area) Good luck!

Thanks! A few years ago, that same test was negative, even though I was already suspect. I have been gathering info(esp on here!), ready to start the journey

BTW, I have read most llmd's don't accept ins? Does that seem to be the case? Understandable, I guess, since I "technically" don't have lyme.

Welcome. Yes most llmds do not accept insurance but they should provide you a bill with diagnosis codes so that you can submit to your insurance if you have it. Should at minimum get some coverage out of network/non participating. Hope that helps.

My LLND does bill insurance. You may get lucky and find one, otherwise like Roxie60 said you can bill the ins co.
