so, he says "you probably have lymes" and "you have a chronic infection of some sort" based on my symptoms and the bw that was available. he believes that i have bart. we are waiting for the igenex result still and he ordered another lab to see if i have immunoglobulins, which apparently confirm whether the igenx result is accurate or not. i had the lymerix vaccine back when it was available (which looks like it may complicate matters...). i have had many tick bites but had bw done after a worrisome one back in november 2012. i tested 'negative'. over the last year or so, i started to develop some symptoms; arthritis in my lower back, hip pain, itchy rashes on legs and arms, an eye twitch and numb fingertips. yesterday, he did an ekg as he was looking for a specific rhythm typical to lymes. that specific rhythm did not show up, but he said that there was a rythmn that made him uncomfortable, and he referred me to my cardiologist to see if it was typical of lymes carditis. he gave me scripts for cefdinir, rifampin, and nystatin which were not his first choices. he couldn't perscribe for me two other abx because of the heart thing. i was hoping that i could go the natural route with herbs, etc. but he said that he hasn't seen much results that way. i have another appointment with a holistically-minded llmd on friday and will hold off on filling the rx until after i see him.
any insights you all could share would be most appreciated.
