I took DMSA tablets and then suppository, as these caused less nausea, for about nine months before I found someone in my area that did IV chelation.
This consisted of EDTA for the most part, 3 grams, twice a week, which was about five times the amount of DMSA I was taking and it took about 35 treatments, so about 14 weeks total. They switched to DMPS towards the end as it's better on Mercury, once the high Lead level had been reduced.
There was vitamin C and Glutathione in the IV pack, which enabled the higher dosage and faster progress, and I never felt any adverse effects during or after the treatments, so it was much better and faster than the pills, but much more expensive too.
I got my DMSA from a Compounding Chemist with an order or something from a nutritionist, it wasn't a prescription.
I did all that prior to getting a Lyme diagnosis, that came years later, and for me, although being rid of these sorts of toxins has to be a good thing, it certainly didn't make me feel any better.
