Hi everyone, if this were just a regular trip to New York City (my hometown) I would cancel. But I booked our tickets over a month ago to celebrate my Nana's 90th birthday. I'm going through some withdrawal symptoms from Lorazepam and who knows if Lyme is playing a factor (I actually doubt it).

One of my major symptoms is arkward balance and feeling like I am rocking. The rocking just started last Monday and I stopped the Lorazepam last Wednesday.

Pray that my son and I have a safe and great trip up and back. I wish I were symptom free by now :-( but it will be so great to see my family and rest.

Anyway thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers.

I will send lot of prayers , from packing to all the transtporataion, to seeing the family
and to have good health and energy coming back, and you two safely back home reflecting back on new fond memories.

Praying for you now luv! Have a good trip. I'm hoping...that once you get to see everyone you will have the best of times and be laughing and magically 'POOF' the withdrawal will be gone, just like that!

have fun be careful with coming off the lorazepam if you have been on it very long. it requires a slow withdrawal process to ease your symptoms. stopping it suddenly after use can result in a seizure.

Take Lyme out of your mind. Instead, think of the wonderful accomplishment that it is for anyone to make it to their 90th birthday. It will be a great experience for your child to be there because those memories last a lifetime and I am proud of you to have the strength and courage to travel being in the health that you are in at this moment. I wish you luck!

Safe travels hun. You are brave and strong and all of us are wishing you a symptom free, loving experience with your family. I hope your withdrawal symptoms are gone today and that you can enjoy the celebration and make new memories. I have to say I am impressed. Give yourself kudos for making the effort.

Mystery 1 I'm in post withdrawal, did a safe taper and I'm benzo free. I feel all over the place at times but I can proudly say I'm benzo free. I belong to benzo buddies online. Between them, help from my doc, neurologist, herbalist and kinesiologist I safely tapered .5mg for 8 months. Started Lorazepam last March.

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Despite physical symptoms we had a good time! The train ride going and coming back was smooth, great to see my whole family and my God my Nana was happy to see me and my son. She prays for my healing all the time and for the both of us. She told me right before I left, "You're going to be fine...you will heal and be your old self again."

I believe her!

She told me to shut out negative comments...worrisome comments...focus on the end result and that's healing.

Just wanted to say thank you for those who sent us prayers, traveling grace, encouraging comments and those who believe! Love you all!

I was thinking of you this morning! Awesome news! I'm so glad you were able to make the trip. Spending time with grandparents....very nice :) 90! That is amazing.

Hi Garden Peace and Binduspire. It was a miracle...between having to walk two blocks to the car where my Uncle parked coming and going, getting myself and my son together for the big dinner and just being there. But it was all worth it! Great part is I rested a lot...I mean a lot. Stayed in my pj's on Friday, most of Saturday and most of Sunday :-)

I'm going to stay still now until I feel a lot better. I have to let this wave of W/D symptoms go by and then tackle Babesia again. Last coinfection and it's about the be destroyed!

Thanks honey...it was tough but God was with me and my son the whole way. I will give myself a pat on the back. I need to stop being so hard on myself.
