Lyme treatment in Arizona

I haven't heard of it. Where is it located and what modalities do they use?

I imagine it's not cheap to go there, like most clinics like this.

That's good that you had so much improvement there in a short time. What were the IVs for? How long were you ill before going there? Healing time varies depending on how long a person has been ill and how many co-infections they have and what else is off with them.

I suspect this is where a person I know took her ill daughter, so I'll have to see how that turned out.

You should be aware that a Western Blot only tests for the body's reaction to bacteria, not the bacteria itself and that Lyme, especially when combined with Bartonella and/or Babesia is well known for keeping the immune system from recognizing and reacting to the bacteria. In other words, the WB isn't a good test to determine if you still have the infection. It only tests to see if your body is recognizing the infection.

In order to have a band on the Western Blot turn positive, there must be an antibody produced. Lyme and Bartonella both inhibit the immune system from producing antibodies to the bacteria, can create biofilms (as you have indicated) so that the immune system can't interact with it or morph to no longer have a cell wall for the immune system to react to.

A much better way to tell how well you are doing is by symptom relief and then time. Stress is usually what will "test" a person's recovery.
