Jason, you mentioned that pain isn't a big issue ... If you had a brain tumor, your headaches would be debilitating ...
When I was first diagnosed, I was in the ER for heart palps - and also blood pressure that was over 170 ..
When there is inflammation near or on a nerve, esp the Vagus Nerve, it will cause all kinds of terrible symptoms INCLUDING shortness of breath and heart palpitations ...
Shortness of breath is not simple an issue w/ the lungs ... Your brain needs to communicate with you lungs, and does so via the Vagus Nerve - when there is a disruption in the line of communication, strange things will happen ...
If this inflammation was in your knee, you probably would not be experiencing the emotional issues - but because of where the inflammatory process is taking place, it feels as if you going insane - which you are NOT ...
Did you have Chicken Pox as a kid ?? ...
I am sure you are dealing w/ something infectious, and as soon as you find out, you will be on the road back to good health and happiness ...
Long ago, I wondered "WHY ME ?" when all this hit me ... and later on, I realized that it so that I could experience something first hand that I could help others with down the line ..
