Insight on allergic reaction?

Hey everyone - geez when it rains it pours!

I had this strange allergic reaction yesterday - to what I'm not sure - my upper lip and a little of the tissue around my nostrils swelled up and my throat feels really tight like someone is gripping it - I've been taking benadryl which I think is helping but it's 24 hours later and it's still swollen and it still feels like someone is gripping my throat...

A week ago I went to a new doctor for lyme who did bee venom injections - felt great afterwards but I'm wondering if this kick-started my immune system into overdrive or something. Can't really pinpoint what could've caused the reaction - since the injections I've had a potential exposure to mold which I already know is an issue for me, and I've had sulfites in wine which maybe could be a potential allergen (if my immune system is now in overdrive or something) - the day it happened I went out to the park, felt really sensitive to the pollen or whatever was in the air to the point where I couldn't breathe well enough and had to sit down, then I thought I was feeling better, grabbed a few handfuls of trail mix that I normally eat, and before I knew it my mouth was tingling and I was having a reaction to something...

My sister actually just had a similar experience with allergies - food seems to be triggering issues in relation to seasonal allergies - she went to the ER twice last month for anaphlyaxis because a banana seemed to cross-react with pollen allergies (it's called oral allergy syndrome) and I'm wondering if something similar is happening to me now? Just wondering if anyone has had weird allergy type symptoms with lyme stuff...I'm not sure what to do here, I've been watching it around the clock in case I need to go to the ER (scary!) but beyond that all I can really do is go to an allergist which I'm afraid to do because they'll probably inject me with small amounts of allergens to see what I'm allergic to and I'm afraid that between the lyme and all I have going on, and the bee venom changing my immune system, and my issues with detoxing, exposing me to a little of the allergens to test for them might really confuse my immune system, make me more allergic to things, or I might not be able to detox the allergens...

Any thoughts, advice, anything would be appreciated here I've been sitting on the couch watching this for 24 hours now with no idea if there's any medical professional who could possibly help me here given the lyme and all that means for my health....

Just wondering if you had chocolate or orange the day it happened. It sounds strange, but my husband had swelling of the upper lip two times, and then a friend told him he knew someone who had that and chocolate and orange was the cause. My husband cut those two things out and it only happened one time after that when eating carrot cake, which might have had orange in it. I know it's a one in a million chance, but just thought I would mention it.

Wine may have mold in it just fyi
