Monolaurin

I phoned inspired nutrition today to ask some questions about 3 of their products. All my questions were answered, and then,,,, I was told the company does not ship to canada... Now I have to find someone in USA who will take delivery and forward on to me... I was surprised because my Cowden protocol ships to canada every month...
I was extremely interested in their chronic inflammation product as my ck levels are increasing and rheumatologist wants me back on prednisone (steroid). Worst poss med for Lyme.
Just found someone who may have a po box close to border. Will find out for sure tomorrow.
Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

Also coconut oil is about 50% Lauric Acid, of that lauric acid, only 1-3% of which is converted to monolaurin which is what is believed to be responsible for its immune supportive properties. (Same goes for the capric and caprylic acids) So you would need a lot of coconut oil/MCT oil to get the same effect as the monolaurin despite some of the synergy of the fats, and at those high of intakes of coconut oil it can begin to have a bit of a laxative effect. Doesn't mean you can't see results with coconut oil alone, or the combination, but that's what Dr. Kabara's research figured out back in the 60's-80's.
