My issues started 6.5 years ago. I am 29 now. Literally woke up one day and life was never the same. Saw countless doctors, finally got diagnosed in early March of this year. I see a Lyme literate doctor in the San Francisco Bay Area. I dealt with severe anxiety, depression, panic manic insanity for 5.5 years and then my digestion completely crapped out and I had severe "gallbladder attacks" and liver pain(even though everything tested normally) and I went on an extremely restricted diet starting in January of 2013. The mental issues subsided about
99.5%. I eat only organic meat, wild caught fish, organic veggies, some fruit, squash, coconut oil, avocados. This has been a huge help.
I am on day 35 of the Cowden. I started up with the anxiety and depression about
day 14 into it. I found Integrative Therapeutics Cortisol Manager online after my doctor recommended Seriphos(hadn't done well with it in the past) and symptoms subsided, also was able to get off of melatonin and finally get some sleep at night. I go to bed at 7:30 otherwise my cortisol still amps up and I am exhausted the next day. My night cortisol is quite high and even with the Cortisol Manager, I think it is going to be awhile before it comes down. I also have hormonal issues(which became much more extreme with this cycle), thyroid issues, adrenal issues, and some sort of gene that makes me very sensitive to mold. My doctor tested me for a ton of stuff, I can't remember all of it. I was not positive for Bartonella though.
I know a lot about
Lyme but have a hard time processing more information about
my tests and reading more. I'm sort of maxed out on educating myself on it.
I guess that's it in a very small summary. Hope to offer help if I can and to meet some nice people on here.
