What does everyone think of this guys protocol? Cured of Lyme twice.

Okay. So what reason does he have for lieing or scamming? He has no reason for that though. His whole point is to get his message out there. Neither of his infections went chronic... First infection took him a year to get rid of. Second infection took 60 days. That second one he knew what to do already so it makes sense.

So nobody believes this guy?

One thing people don't take into account is he did 2 weeks of cipro like 3 weeks after he got infected the first time around. That knocked most of it out but there was still some residual Borrelia left.

I think his techniques show what are the best drugs to use in early infection?

I believe in this guys methods to be honest. Why am I symptom free? I am using the same medications he is, but these medications only work when the bacteria are dividing.

BUT there is one inaccuracy in what he says. That is tinidazole kills borrelia irregardless of if they are dividing or not, minocycline must induce cyst form just like doxy does as it is the same family of drug. So this is inducing them into cyst form and then knocking them out with the cyst buster. Why is this so hard to believe for some people? Mino has the better tissue penetration, is twice as fat soluble, and the tinidazole get's everywhere in the body anyways.

Is it really that hard to believe? I am symptom free right now too. I think this guy has good intentions, the Red Zinger Tea tastes good anyways so I'm going to keep drinking it. Turns out Wild Cherry Bark is a natural antibiotic that only hits bacteria. I did my own separate research outside of his research to see if what he is saying is actually true.

All the research I have done says this guy is telling the truth. I'm being honest about my opinion.

Girlie, yes I think you are right. If we can sway the immune system. Get the investigators to investigate the situation, and then after the investigators figured the germ out the soliders can come and take it out. The abx helped that happen. It knocked the germs out, then the investigators investigated the situation and identified the enemy, they communicated this information. So the germs never got the upper hand.

I still believe this guy though. He cured his Lyme twice, amazing. I'm still trying to cure it once but I may have succeeded curing it once though. I'm just going to keep treating just in case.

I think like everything else, it will work for some but not for others. I would have hesitancy about the greater opportunity for resistant pathogens this way - but I would likely be on herbs continuously and then pulse the antibiotics if this is the way I wanted to go.

Opugirl... Lyme hasn't ever been found to become resistant to antibiotics yet. It has such a large genome for a bacteria and is way too slow growing. It would take years and years for it to become resistant to antibiotics. All it can do is try and hide or turn into cyst form, or stay in it's biofilm community.

I mentioned this guy to Girlie a while ago. I have to believe he is telling the truth b/c what would he get out of lying about it? However, it seems his protocol would work best on a new case. That being said, I am going to take a couple of his suggestions and put it into play for my children. Just the natural stuff. Why not? Might be worth the try.

I know a person that had lyme disease in their knee. That was it, one symptom!!! It took them months on a PICC line to get straightened out.

Maybe zinger tea and cherry bark worked for this guy but I have my doubts for most of us. Not discouraging anyone from trying. You are missing part of his protocol, you are supposed to chew on 5 Apple seeds a day as well. Good luck.

Did anyone not get well from minocycline + tinidazole ?

Just curious. I think I will treat 2 months symptom free but I think if it ever comes back I will have to use his protocol.

You only took 1? But that is supposed to be for joint pain! You can always try the mino + tind for stiff next and neurological issues.

Sorry they didn't work. What do you think will work? I'm surprised your PCP only gave you 1 doxycycline. You will need more than just 1 doxy.

I am symptom free now but I am very concerned that if I stop the antibiotics the symptoms will come back. So I am trying to figure out when is the best time to stop the antibiotics? And how am I supposed to know I'm truly symptom free?

I have to add my two cents here. I am the one who told this guy to share his story here. I met him on another Lyme forum and he shared his story only to get ripped apart by people thinking it was some type of scam. But if it's a scam don't you think he'd be selling something? I occasionally email him with questions from other people and he spreads his 'cure' all over the internet. Let it be know that he is only trying to help and he has helped me big time.

His protocol is probably geared towards more people with early Lyme and not a destroyed immune system. I tried his protocol and it did not work for me. I wondered why and got my cd 57 test and it was really low so that why. HOWEVER. I am taking all of the drugs in his protocol as well as the herbs but my LLMD modified it to her own protocol which has helped me tremendously. So don't go jumping the gun because he is just trying to help.
