I caught sick on November 23rd, I can pinpoint the time of exposure. I had a prescription for minocycline that I got filled right away just 4 days after my exposure. I then researched myself and ordered the cowden protocol stuff just 2 weeks after getting sick. It was working a bit, but I was messaging some people that I met online who have Lyme and realized self treating with Lyme is not a good way and it should get medical help and I did. I first went on a months worth of rifampin with the minocycline. Then I asked my LLMD to change it up because I wanted the tinidazole. So he switched me up to the tini. The tinidazole worked very well and turned things around like night and day in just 1 month! Then we added in the Plaquenil as well which also helped. Ever since mid April I've been close to 100%. I have very small residual symptoms left and I think I got rid of 99.9% of it but I know there is still some left. I'm mostly symptom free.
I also caught bartonella and I am also bartonella symptom free. I did rifampin for a month, and have been on Septra DS for 3 months now. I also finished off a bottle of A-Bart and a few bottles of Houttuynia. I'm glad bartonella is gone! But I will treat for another month or so just in case because I would hate for it to come back.
As far as Lyme goes. I tried banderol, samento, Japanese knotweed, rifampin, minocycline, teasel, Plaquenil and tinidazole.
I think the minocycline, and tinidazole are the best for Lyme. And Plaquenil is also pretty good. The thing about Lyme is we need drugs that can get into the brain very well.
