hi Braden,
How long have you been on antibiotics? You mentioned, "about half-way done" or so; a lyme literate dr. would say to treat a month or two (have heard of longer even) past your last symptom.
My son began antibiotics in Feb. and we started seeing improvements in him by March, and then significant improvements in April and May. He's still not quite symptom free, but is almost. That has been with 16 weeks of antibiotics. His pediatrician (who isn't our lyme dr.) said when he heard my son had lyme (we met with him to fill him in on the situation at the beginning of son's treatment.)
anyway, he was very nice, but said that three weeks on amoxicillin would take care of it.
My son was barely even one symptom less after three weeks of amoxicillin.
His fatigue was better for sure, but otherwise, he still basically had every symptom he had had at the beginning of those three weeks. The IDSA protocol simply isn't enough.
Have you been able to go to a llmd (lyme literate dr.). That would be important for you.
As far as floaters, I've heard they are a lyme symptom. sounds like you've got a lot.
If you haven't seen a lyme dr. yet that'd be good to find one. If you need help with that just ask here, or start a post for that and someone will help if they know of one in your area.
