Haven't been officially diagnosed with Lyme's yet,been showing symptoms for over three years now but it's been a battle trying to find a doctor who takes Lyme's seriously around here.. Finally found a LLND,see her for the first time in a couple months. In the meantime trying to learn as much as I can,so would love to hear stories from fellow Canucks. wink

Their is one LLND in Montreal she herself had Lyme and recoverd ... She comes here sometimes I talked to her other day ... Very nyce and felt good ... She also do Skype consult ... If u guys need help... Let me know

I'm another Albertan. Diagnosed by Dr. M (LLMD) from Hope BC in 2007 shortly before he retired. Under-treated due to difficulty finding another physician. Relapsed (or just gotten worse with passing years and no treatment). Hoping to start again soon even if it means going to US, since Alberta NDs can't prescribe.

But LLND in BC can prescribe antibiotics so u Dont need to go US their is dr EC in Richmond BC treat LymeS will help u out and abx and herbals

I'm from Vancouver Island, BC. Not diagnosed yet. Since our ND's can prescribe abx, I have started seeing one in Victoria (south tip of the island)

Dr. E C is thought of as the best LLND in BC. He said 80% of his practice is Lyme patients.
After the initial consult, he will do phone/skype appts.

With the new bill C-442, changes are coming for us Canadians.

I'm also from Alberta!  Wow Lyme has populated up all across the country! I am seeing the LLND and an LLMD from the states.  It is a blessing that BC naturopathic Drs can now prescribe ABX.  I highly recommend Canadians seeking out LLNDs in BC first before going to the states as it could save you lots of money!

I am just north of toronto. I see a naturapathic in Barrie. He will be going ILADS in SEptember to get his LLND. Will not be able to do Abx, but he is very knowledgeable re Lyme especially on the herbals. Do not know what I would do without Dr. Y. My MD does not believe that I have Lyme. Tested very positive thru Igenix. Negative on Elisa.

Hi Harry, I am on the cowden full protocol (mth 3). have introduced Jernigan antitoxII Muscular/skeletal, also chronic inflammation relief and monolaurin. Most of my symptoms ie shallow breathing, foggy brain/eyes, have gone completely. I had excrutiating pain in hip are, trouble walking (bent over/shoulders hunched) I am now able to stand tall. Still slight difficulty walking (feel like a little tin soldier) and tire/ache after walking too long. All in all I am not complaining. Oh, should mention I also have hydrogen peroxide iv's and glutathione iv's. Have just started a parasite cleanse.. Did the heavy metals test (high) - will be starting on chelation as soon as the parasite cleanse is finished. Still no weight gain but that could be due to parasites or heavy metals.
feeling pretty darned good. (today) LOL. Have herxed three times since I started the cowden. Not sure how to get the contact info to you as I understand we are not allowed to post that on the forum.

Volyme,the LLND that I will be seeing is in Calgary,she is also certified in B.C. so can prescribe as well..

Hi NinaBoo and thanks for the info. I think I know which one you mean, but I had heard she was on or going on mat leave. Didn't want to start and have to find new ND halfway through treatment (for the third time, unbelievably)!

Yes,she recently came off of mat leave,hence why I couldn't get in to see her til August. So you have heard of her then;good things I hope? :)
