Okay - I have changed my ND appt. to July 8th - Igenex tests should be back then. This is what I'm thinking of doing: Calling her a day ahead and asking her if it's positive....and will she be treating me with abx. If she says "no" - then I cancel my appt.
It's a waste of my time and money to drive there if she won't at least give me a few weeks of abx. So I found another ND in same city to find out what she does.
I asked her if she treats if tests come back negative. She said, "Every patient has come back positive". But, went on to say if I tested negative she would treat me with Doxy for 3 weeks. i asked her if it would be 200mg X twice daily and she said that was too much. She would treat 100 mg X twice daily and see if I either felt better or felt worse. She said she would have liked me to get the CD57, but i didn't. She works closely with the LLND in Richmond.
But I know that 100mg x2 isn't enough.
So I'm not sure what to do. If I get negative test and ND #1 won't treat...should I go to ND #2 for the low dose doxy...or make an appt. with the LLND in Richmond? I guess I need to call that office.
This is getting to be too much..I'm starting to get overwhelmed - don't know what to do.
I need a plan because I want to start treatment by the time the results are in...I do not want this going on and on and on. If I see ND #1 July 8th and she doesn't treat....then I'm making an appt. with another one...and it will be a three week wait.
Maybe I should make a tentative appt. for July 10th with the one in Richmond...and cancel if I end up going to the July 8th appt.
This is ridiculous - can't believe I have to do this.
