One infection after the other.

This year's infection list: 2 respiratory infections, cellulitis and now a bacterial or viral intestinal infection.

I'm crawling over the floor when the cramps in my upper abdomen begin. Meds against spasms don't help. Went to the bathroom 17 times today. I think that's a personal record. It's only 6 pm...
Fever too. And my lower back and kidneys are killing me. High bp and heartbeat of 104bpm. Feel so nauseous, can't hold anything down.

Last bloodtest showed positive for yersinia IgG and IgA (3months after abx treatment).
I have a new GP who is being clever. Ordered a stool test. Is taking my history serious and tries to see the whole picture.
I hope it'll be something easy to get rid of.

Not something else--not fair!!! Thinking of you, hope that doc finds something and can treat it.

Marie, sad to hear of what you are going through. Have you considered having a fecal transplant? It may help stabilize your flora enough for you to get some relief.

Being that yersinia IgG is gram negative bacteria, are you able to take abx that will target it?

You are very knowledgeable so I imagine that you already considered Oil of Oregano which is highly effective against viruses and Ox bile and Capric Acid for the stomach issues.

The cramps were better this morning, but are starting again this evening. I lost 7,7 lbs only yesterday!! I can't believe it.

Healing98, I think it would take persistent and c diff to get it here in Belgium. Only 8 in total were done by April 2013 in Belgium...
I took Ofloxacine for Yersinia a few months ago.
I would try Oil of Oregano, but I can't hold anything down, and all smells are making me more nauseous.

I hope I get the results of the test tomorrow or Friday.

My GP is nothing like my llmd, but he is trying his best, and I appreciate it. He's logically thinking, and eliminating. Looking at my infections, and not blindly prescribing abx that could make yersinia come back if it's still there hiding

While we're at it, you need to get your immune globulin levels checked, stat.

You can get IGG IVs or infusions for that.

If you don't want to be exposed to a blood supply (plasma), start taking Colostrum or Transfer Factor in massive doses.

Xymogen's IGg ROCKs, but I don't think they're producing it anymore. They probably got into trouble with the FDA.

I know it sounds hypocritical, since I've had infections as well, but my rate of infection went way down when I did these things.

Hi Marie, sorry you are sick again. Are you still on the low dose naltrexone ? If you are taking anything can you cut of off until you see if that is a reaction ? I know when I take certain meds my kidneys hurt and when I stop it goes away. I so sorry you are down and out but do not hesitate to hit the ER if it continues so you do not get dehydrated. Hugs.

You should only take Vitamin C (& magnesium too!) to 'bowel tolerance' - the diarrhea is the indicator that you are taking more than your body can deal with. Try lowering your dose slightly until you no longer have diarrhea. I bet you will feel a bit better!
