How long does it take for ocd/tics for lyme patients to resolve?

How did you resolve them?

Not sure what to ask for anymore....

I just kept with my treatment. Consider co-infections. Keep looking for answers.

Just voicing some empathy... I've been having problems with spasms/tics when I'm tired, particularly when I first wake up and before I go to bed.

The infection(s) need to be cleared from the nervous system, and this just takes some time. Remember that Bartonella can make Neuro Lyme symptoms even more pronounced, so both may need to be treated for them to resolve.

Plenty of detoxing will usually help slow them down some though.

Thanks everyone - hoping for healing and will keep questioning drs. Tests came back pos. only for lyme. Thought is was bart or bebesia... so ocd and tics can be just lyme in the nervous system?

I had what refer to as slight ocd about ceryain things, I noticed improvement(less ocd driven) with first round of abx. Actually forgot to mention that to llmd at kast visit so yhanks for this reminder.

The co-infection testing is worse than the Lyme testing is. What is most important is if you have the symptoms of Bartonella or Babesia. We have some good symptom lists in our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread that sits at the top of the forum. I would encourage you to read through it and compare your symptoms.
