Sorry you had to join us. Read the book Beyond Lyme Disease by Connie Strasheim. She is a Lyme patient also and from all the books I have read I find this one the most comprehensive and approachable given the state our brains are in. There is something that brought your immune system down and you need to find out what that is. It may be mold, HLA or MTHFR genetic mutations, heavy metals, etc. That needs to be addressed, if you don't deal with these you will never get better regardless how many abx you try. My suggestion is to get the book and find a dr. who will help you discover what is wrong with your immune system. Most of us have heart problems. Mine resolved as I progressed with treatment thank God! I am still dealing with neurological problems. I have the HLA gene and am very susceptible to mold. I was just exposed again two days ago. Yesterday I could not remember the meaning of the word "avocado". Today I have increased joint pain and am tired. Ordered N95 rated masks on Amazon. I am considering getting a professional respirator. Hope you find help with your treatments and your problems resolve quickly. It is very difficult to be this ill and take care of an infant at the same time. There are people here with small children and I am sure they will chime in. (Hugs) feel better!

I know that depending on your genotype there are different treatments. I am compound heterozygous and just taking a good methylated B complex at this point. I know that I need to be doing more. The dr. at mthfr.net is very knowledgeable about the subject and have heard he really helps people. I want to do the Amy Y. genetic detox test. I have the feeling there is more wrong with me than just MRHFR. I know that I am missing one of the liver enzymes and who knows what else I am missing. I will wait till September when I have a better health insurance and then I will do it.
