I remember when someone would come back on doing well and/or in remission. It was soooo very helpful to me--especially from where I was (Hurling, hurtin', seizin' spacie..gracie). Getting well or even making progress seemed unlikely and at times impossible. I was always grateful to hear it and I hope to pay that forward now. So thank you for taking the time to drop your note of thanks :) I hope you make good progress fast!

Were you able find and download the selections okay?

Yes, you can play them while you are sleeping...but it also needs to be at least 3 hours or more during awake times to be effective...
Are you able to get enough time in during the day?

If you are listening to those selections now, is it irritating to the brain at all?

quick question (I hope) - How long do you think you had Lyme, and when did symptoms first start?

I am thinking mine was dormant for quite a long time, although it's hard to know.

I don't know what would be considered normal, haaa, but that is exactly what happened to me when I first started it.
So I take your reaction as a good sign, meaning your brain wants to stay in the same ole pathways but the music is forcing it out of the habits.
That's why the selections of music are SO important and specific!!
It does get easier with time.
I know it was pretty hard on me at first but it's what I was willing to do on the chance it could help me get better... I was reallllly desperate....and I knew it couldn't hurt me..what was more discomfort amongst all the pain?
You could start out with to soften the reactions is play it softly/low. That should make it a little less intense....

You can listen anytime, doing anything....it can be playing in the background of anything you need to do during the day...grooming, cooking, during your computer time, during reading, and if you must watch tv, try it low in the background of even that. Although some straight listening time is best.

I'm so glad to hear you are trying it and asking questions--you sound as determined as I was to get well!! :)

Hi RTF.
At first we remembered a tick bite with a reallly bad rash preceded by a terrible "summer flu". Of course my pediatrician had no clue and kept saying to come back if it didn't go away...I was about 7 then.

Looking back we see many symptoms that indicate I was probably born with it. I was born with one side of my mouth that didn't work (long story on that diagnosis which essentially was -no diagnosis) and I was born with gut issues and big problems eating meat/proteins.

I always had odd things throughout the years but nothing ever stopped me in my tracks. No missed school nor was I laid up with anything.
Later, (in my early and mid teens) during my elite athletics years I had breathing issues that were not asthma and again no medical answers.

Many more symptoms came on starting in 6th grade and by the middle of 8th I getting sicker --even though I didn't want to admit it.
By 9th grade I had to quit school as well as my beloved athletics.
Then the shhhtuff hit the fan and I was down and out with ..you name it....and the other things I listed in the previous posts.

Sorry this is so long but I coulda actually made it a lot longer, hehe, ---my new leaf that I'm trying to turn over is to shut my little -big pie hole, haha! I'm getting there believe it or not...as this is an improvement comparatively.

How are you doing? Are you remembering past symptoms or do you think they were always dormant?

I think I remember your name - but things from that time in my life are still kind of sketchy - sorry. I got really, really sick too - although not quite as ill as you - and I refused to go to the hospital eyes not necessarily the best choice I could have made. But no feeding tubes or anaphylactic reactions and I've been very blessed to not have had any really serious heart issues.

I would ask that if this thread goes to 3 pages that you please start a new thread though. Call it part 2 and add a link to the new thread and on the first post in the new thread, add a link directing people back to this thread. Hi Gracie,

I remember you very well (what you were going through) and often wondered about you. I am so happy that you are doing so well! I remember a long time ago I was very scared for you and kept you in my prayers. Thanks for coming back and letting us know that you are well!

You are a true inspiration for all those that are suffering....

Spacie, it was so nice of you to pay it forward for others - I'm thinking that even though I'm not lyme, with all my issues, I would benefit from your music repetoir. I will give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration Gracie, I am so glad you are healed and continuing to feel better and giving us hope on this forum.

This is interesting info that I would like to learn more about so I am hoping to print it out and incorporate into my protocol.

That is so awesome that you got better! How exactly did you kill the bacteria though? Was it with Chinese herbs?

What was the thing your pain doctor had you do that helped when you said "My pain doctor (who is actually Lyme Literate) had a recommendation that I hoped would be helpful but didn't expect a lot"?

When you say you can't listen to any other music for the first three months of music therapy, does that include not watching TV or movies or going anywhere in public that music plays? Does the music have to be playing for 3 hours straight or can it be 3 hours broken up throughout the day?

I am so happy to hear of your great success!!! Your music therapy didn't sound strange to me at all because my daughter was successfully treated with music, colors, magnets, and other forms of energetic treatments as well. Thank you for coming back and sharing your good news with the forum members that are still struggling.

Would you please explain why you edited my post to say something that I never said or experienced?? Is this your experience or what's the deal? Why would you post as me and make something up???

Here is what you did to my post at the end of the first page that I never said but you made it look like I did:

"Did you use a rental? I don't remember if they have a rent to own offer. I need to get my notes out that I took when we went to listen to Wolfgang's talk on them. I think I only tried a mat 5 or 6 times, not enough to tell if it did anything. I tried the light and sound therapy with it the last time we went. I think it works like your music therapy, only music is nicer to listen to than the sounds produced by their product.

I'm so sorry! That was supposed to be a reply in a quote, not doing anything negative to you. I've been having some problems posting lately, sometimes with it not showing up at all. Also, my brain has been struggling with he heat and from stress, so I may have just spaced out. I never intended to cause you trouble. I just wanted to ask you about PEMF mat rentals. I wouldn't change anyones profile either.

Everyone needs to remember that most of the Mod's are in treatment for these infections as well. We all make mistakes and we all need understanding. As a Mod the pressure is quite great to not only 'perform' at a certain level, but it takes a lot of time to be an effective Mod. If we were only on here when we could 'perform' at this level & "had the time", we wouldn't be here often!!!

I have been the only Mod on here when I was incredibly ill still - so every bit of help I could get was greatly appreciated - and I needed a LOT of understanding. But I still need that understanding - as do the other Mods.
