It's possible - although I don't know how likely - that you are so worn down that your body can only stay up for 1 night before you 'crash' and can sleep.
I've had all kinds of weird sleep issues relating to insomnia. I take a lot of supplements for sleep
and ambien in order to just sleep an average of 6 hours each night. Lyme and company can do the weirdest things to a person's sleep!!!
What about
taking a detox full bath just before you start your night time routine? Many say it helps them relax, and the magnesium that you would be absorbing would go to helping the muscles relax as well.
Also, are you taking a magnesium supplement? Magnesium usually helps a lot with muscle twitching. Also avoid lemon juice and things in a vinegar base - this can increase muscle twitching in some people. I know that I had to stay away from those things for a while when my muscle twitching got really bad.
Yes, Lyme is known to mess with our hormones. I'm glad you are getting yours checked & hopefully you are getting them balanced back out. If your sleep issues are due to this, it should resolve once they are balanced again.
As for your adrenals, please read more about
them on this site:
www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/This is a site that I have used extensively to help me understand a lot about
adrenal & thyroid functions, test results and have even found a doctor to treat my thyroid and adrenals issues through them!
