Looking for a healing situation in Northern California, San Francisco,grass valley

We are relocating to California from Asheville North Carolina so we can take advantage of the wonderful schools here (and homeschooling program) my kids (9 and almost 12) my dog and I need a place to plug in and have access to a kitchen and bathroom. We have been homeschooling because my kids weren't thriving in public schools...and unfortunately my health took a dive on our cross country road trip and I decided (after 4years of fighting Lyme ) to put my health and the kids health first! So we are staying here for a while...to try to regain my health...and to make sure my kids are ok while i focus on my health....I have had chronic autoimmune disease off and on all my adult life. Right now I have been diagnosed with chronic Lyme, hashimotos disease and cpn. I need help...I am broke and. In bad shape. Any suggestions re:doctors, a place to plug in or support group etc I would greatly appreciate

I may actually end up in WA...we have a friend there who is a home healthcare aid...I may take the kids and our rv up there for a couple months until my husband returns from working back east...do you mind if I ask where you are? I live near Sacramento and know of an LLMD in the City of Sacramento near Arden Fair Mall (not sure if you know the area).
Anyhoo, Traveler also has the doctor's name (he's the only LLMD in Sac) because Traveler is the person I got it from! Hee hee.
I just saw him for the first time on Monday and he is really great. He is an MD, but also a certified/licensed ND, so he looks at all aspects of you body to determine the best treatment options. He is also ILADS trained. Look him up and read the note under his name in Travelers email (about a free phone consult on certain days and times). I did that which helped me realize he was the right dr for me. Just make sure you ask to speak specifically with him as I think he is the only ILADS dr in that office. The only issue is cost. Not sure if I am ok to post actual amounts but let me know if you want me to email info to you.

Also, I decided to just go to a wonderful doc I know in Portland I feel the need to go to...anyone know of a spot in Portland? I could camp alone in the woods with my kids but I am not well and could use a community right now...I have a lot to give but I need help too...any leads would be much appreciated!

There is a good support group in Portland that meets the 2nd Sunday of each month, so I can send you that info. if you'd like. There is a LLND in the Portland area. Is the doc you're going to see a Lyme literate doctor?

There is an LLMD there, Dr. S. Ha----, with Frontier P. Medicine. I think he uses the Horowitz technique, not sure.

That's the office I go to and they do. The only catch is it's pretty expensive. There are 3 LLMD's in the Bay Area and I spoke to 2 when deciding who I was going to see. I don't think Frontier is any more expensive than any of the others.

They have an excellent ND who is one of the most impressive Dr's I have worked with. I got Lyme and we didn't realize what the odd bullseye was on the side of my bicep while I was rehabbing from major shoulder surgery. Prior to that surgery I had had 2 cervical spine surgeries and the other shoulder operated on. I have dealt with way too many doctors in the last 6 years. This one is extremely impressive.

I have seen two Dr's at the office. I've never seen the lead Doc. He is also the CEO of IGenX and his brother is the President our vice versa.
