How do ya know if ya have babesia?

I mean if you have it how can a doctor find out and what can I get my doctor to test me for? Like if someone has it and they go undiagnosed since I heard it's deadly are people supposed to just die with the darn thing? I mean this is ridiculous doctors need to step their game up.


Not everyone has money for an llmd but something as serious as co infections should be able to found since that's what give most people complications, like if I have babesia I don't wanna just sit here and go undiagnosed and die, but if I don't have it I don't wanna go crazy thinking I do, this lyme stuff is like a darn double edged sword man and it sucks.



Anyway I do have an enlarged spleen but I think that's from mono I had a couple of months ago, so I can never be sure if I have babesia or not, but I'm not about to just sit here and let it be a sneaky ****** but I can't afford an llmd right now and I got bit like 5 months ago so how the hell will I ever know? I ain't got much money so it's either an alternative doctor finds it or the thing kills me? Guess I got no choice huh?


Sorry everyone just fed up with this darn lyme chase, wish the horrible thing never existed. But yea anyway how can I accurately find babesia cause I would think that something as life threatening as that (from what I hear) should be able to be found accurately cause that's some serious stuff man, thanks.

When I started seeing my LLND she started treating me for Babesia right away based on my symptoms, even before I was tested. I did a blood test with ImmunoSciences months later and it was confirmed that I had it.

A good LLMD can make a clinical diagnosis. There are several good sources online that list Babesia-specific symptoms. The best thing might be to find a way to get in to see an LLMD. But there are people on this forum who are self-treating. Maybe you can reach out to them and find out what protocol they are following.

Buhner and Klinghardt have good info.

I am currently taking A-Bab, which is an herbal tincture but will start on Malarone or Mepron soon. I believe it will be covered by my insurance for awhile. But we are testing again (first Microti and Ducani tests came back negative) now that I've been on the herbs for a couple months, which should have stirred up more immune response and hopefully, trigger a positive test result. And therefore, longer coverage by the insurance co.

Both of our daughter's babesia tests (B microti and B duncani) tests returned negative. Malarone produced some improvements in cognition with no herxing. Our daughter was completely asymptomatic for babesia, but had clinical symptoms of bartonella and a positive B hensalae Igenex test.

It wasn't until we trialled higher doses of the herbal combination CSA (cryptolepis/sida acuta/alchornea) recommended by Stephen Buhner for protozoan infections (specifically babesia), that our daughter herxed with babesia symptoms (air hunger, sighing, chest pressure, dry cough). At that point we realized we were dealing with babesia as well as bartonella and changed herbal treatment to reflect the new diagnosis.

We challenged with 1/4 tsp (35 drops) CSA tincture 2x daily. After approx. 1 week she developed the babesia herx symptoms. It took me a couple of days to realize what they were because we had been so focussed on bartonella. Our LLMD verified them as babesia symptoms although testing had been negative.

We took a couple of days off to let the symptoms resolve and then continued with 15 drops CSA 2x daily. For us, this dosage produces improvement with no herxing.

Bidens is another story - 1 drop 3x daily and we are both dizzy as hoot owls! We now use 1 drop 1x daily.

That's crazy that 1 drop of bidens has that effect.
