Twitching is one of my last symptoms. I sometimes wonder if it is still the lyme/babesia or if it is now Candida (yeast). Because I have a build up of yeast that causes me to stop abx every once in a while and then the twitching seems to subside. It is annoying, but my eyelid twitching stopped a long time ago. Now its more in my legs and arms.

MY eyelids started twitching recently and I find that stress makes it worse. I don't have it every day and it's usually just one eyelid and only the top ones.

Twitches are caused by inflammation in the Dorsal Root Ganglia of the vetebrae that have Borrelia living in them which are trapped in the Cerebrospinal fluid.

For instance if you have a twitch in your little finger on your right hand and have to take asthma medicine to relax your bronchi to relax then the inflammation from Borrelia is in the T1 vetebrae.

Thank you Cured Twice for posting the possibility of why people with Lyme/co-infections would experience fasciculations. My husband continues to experience them, along with other ALS symptoms. i will check out the sites you mentioned. It's the first time I have heard as to why this is happening.

LymePickle, My husband, Toby, has both NeuroLyme or I am assuming Neuro borelliosis based on his symptoms and fasciculations too so I think they can go hand in hand.

So funny, I got on here this morning to vent about how annoying these darn twitches are. My left eye drives me crazy.

I can relate to this. It is by far the most annoying, especially at night. Why can't I just sleep in piece!!!! I am upping my B vitamins, magnesium and Omega's to hopefully speed up the heeling process.

Also treating the infections should help.

My Dr explained to me that it was the nerves misfiring in areas. I get this always as a first symptom with my flair ups every time in my lower legs. When I do the proper drug for me, it goes completely away..

Lifting weights and going to the gym has significantly helped my twitching.
