self administration of IV peroxide

well, I did it y'all.

I am a RN with 22 yrs of experience got into a NP program but had to drop out due to this illness. I am highly intelligence and resourceful. I was going and getting Iv peroxide for an alternative doctor weekly which was costing me 600 dollars a month. I am separated now from my husband and could not afford this amount of money.

I have heard so many of the desperation in your voices on here. as well as my own. I spent 2 or 3 months researching IV and oral peroxide for lyme and other diseases. dr charles farr started doing this years ago and saw lots of success with his patients and there has been many other doctors who are advocates of this treatment some say it is quackery but I beg to differ. I was in bed for 2 yrs until I began the iv peroxide treatment in may and got 8 treatments in all until the middle of july. the treatments got me functional and I started to enjoy life again. still very weak tho.

I went from middle of july until today without a treatment I had started to worsen and my symptoms began to come back. I took antibiotics for 8 months sick as a dog, and they did not work for me. I found out the exact dosage, the carrier IV fluid, the rate of administration, the grade of peroxide to be infused. since i have been an Iv nurse a supervisor and everything else, today, I gave it to myself.

I felt the same euphoric feeling you get after infusion. I tolerated it well. I felt more energy and I am sure I will herxx at first like I did when I began several months ago for a couple of days. I started the IV in a vein in my foot with a 24 gauge angiocath which is very small. there was no pain at the injection site. I found a place you can order all supplies online.

I am telling you this if you are a RN, doctor, EMT or in the medical profession or know anyone in the medical profession. I am not I repeat NOT recommending it to any layperson without the experience I have. I am only reporting my experience and knowledge.

I am also seeing a pain specialist thursday who has a hyperbaric oxygen chamber which I have heard has cured people but I have no idea of the cost yet. I hope to use this therapy too. my lyme doctor also recommended colloidal silver and herbs, esp the cowden protocol which I plan to do as well.

I was warned not to do it, but I have suffered so much, that I am willing to try anything to get well. and since I had received 8 without a problem, I felt safe and that I would do well. of course I was sitting by the phone ready to call 911 and someone was with me. I cannot stress enough to research and be your own advocate. so many doctors know nothing about this disease.

there are also other ways to take 35 % food grade peroxide, soak in a bath with filtered water it absorbs thru your skin. you can drink it on a drop a day schedule, which I got from my health food store. there are many of uses for it as well. I have read so many good things about it, many cancer patients are using it with success as well as those with other chronic diseases.

Hi Mystery1, I am glad that you have found what helps you through your everyday life. As a nurse that you are, i know you have done your research as you mentioned and you are not putting your life at risk. With this illness, we have to keep trying different things till we find the one that really works. I know, it is so sad that doctors and many in the medical field don't know much about lyme and think it can be easily cured with a three weeks antibiotics. Sad because thousands are becoming infected and miss the window for a cure because the information and treatment from the CDC are simply misleading and wrong. We end up knowing more about these bacteria than the doctors themselves....sad.

It was part of my protocol too. I had to have it done at a dr.s office because I cannot do it myself but it definitely helped me. Mystery1 I see you are on Synthroid. You might want to look at Armour. It is desiccated pig thyroid and provides all hormones you need, not just one.

Wow! What were the negative symptoms you saw from being on Armour?

BTW I wanted to comment on your surprise when nobody was negative about your experience with hydrogen peroxide. I think that this is an extremely well moderated forum where the focus is on sharing what worked for us and the journey we are on without being criticized and attacked by the rest of the online community. I truly appreciate that. When someone is off the charts they will be told that but overall people here are very helpful and accepting of other people's experiences. This forum has truly contributed to my healing and helped me to recover.

Oddly enough, I had normal ranges in all of my thyroid tests, but had a horrible lump in my throat right at the thyroid. Scans didn't reveal anything either.

I had trouble swallowing pills though, so I persisted in pushing to find out why. I finally found my current doc, who decided to 'try' me on Armour thyroid. It wasn't until I got up to 1/2 grain (30 mgs) of Armour a day that the lump went away - I had swelling on the back side of my thyroid only - my new doc said that this is actually quite rare (leave it to a Lymie to have this!).

I am now on 1.5 grains (90 mgs) of Armour and my levels are almost to where my doc wants to see them (in the middle of the ranges). She doesn't believe that I will need to raise my amount any more, but will wait to see what the blood test next month reveals before assuming that.
