LOL!
Thank you for your kind words.
I think it's good to rule out some things with the Endoscope procedure though. You can't take care of what's going on in your body without knowing what all is going on in your body!
Do you have results of past blood tests? They can tell you a lot about
the functioning of certain organs. There are sites online that you can use to look up different things on blood tests. I like
labtestsonline.org/ It's hard to understand what comes out of some doctors mouths sometimes. I mean why would a LLMD say such a thing? It's crazy. That would likely get me to change to a different LLMD - but I'm goofy that way. Maybe when you see him again, ask him to explain what he meant by that statement?
And no, Igenex doesn't test for those things that Lymebabe spoke of. To see what tests the do offer, go to their site (
www.igenex.com/) and click on the tab on the left that says "what tests to order". There you will see what tests they have to offer.
Comparing your symptoms to a good symptom list is actually the best way to know what you are dealing with - and remember that some infections/conditions may not reveal themselves until you get your bacterial load down more. I didn't have any Babesia symptoms until I had been in treatment for Lyme and Bart for a while. We have some good symptom lists in the "New to Lyme?" thread including this one:
www.lyme-symptoms.com/LymeCoinfectionChart.html Hang in there!! Things will get better!
