How Old Are We?

Intersted in everyone's age. Probably accross the board.

I'm 26.

I'm 43. I was 38 when I got Lyme, but only diagnosed last week.

I turned 51 this summer, but was infected by the age of 7, healed from that set of infections at age 48 & 49. Got reinfected and am back in treatment now for the last month.

I'm 47, was diagnosed 2 months ago, been sick since I was 39.

I'm 31 now, was infected at 26.

Hey there JohnRed- I will be 60 in less than 2 months from now! Be careful!

I'm not the one that was sick however. Heather was 8 years old when she was bit by the tick and 14-15 during her main curing year. She is 19 now and feeling great.

I am 71. I was diagnosed with lyme this past January, but i believe that i have had Lyme all my life. I figure i got it from my mom when i was born. 10 years ago, i was bitten by a tick and the bite produced the telltale bull's eye rash. I went to a medi clinic and showed them my rash and i gave them the tick in a pill case. They discounted any possibility of any disease and sent me on my way. Wife is 66 and she was also diagnosed with Lyme at the same time i was. We believe we have passed on Lyme to both our kids and that the Lyme in them is not being treated. Both (ages 40 and 37) are totally estranged from us. Our son is the worse of the 2 with many symptoms of lyme as it has affected his brain and his thinking ability. He is now a non-functional member of society and there is nothing we can do to help him because he does not want us in his life. This is so painful. We worry about his 2 sons aged 12 and 5. xfmlg

xfmlg I am so sorry to hear that.. you had the rash and the tic and they sent you away.. just terrible.

I'm 53...major symptoms started 2 years ago, but believe I've had it much longer. No idea when I got bitten.

32 and just diagnosed this past June. Had EM rash when I was 26.

25, sick since 20...!

37 been sick a long time, never found a tick. I used tohave episodes of being bedridden in my 20s, symptoms since about age 9. My scu thinks I've had lyke most if my life. I found out when I was 35.
