Does foot pain have to mean Bart?

Can lyme not cause foot pain? I hear everyone attribute foot pain to Bart, but does that mean lyme can't cause foot pain? I tested negative through Igenex for Bart, and I know false negs can happen, but foot pain is really the only symptom I have that is common in Bart also.

I was wondering the same. Recently started having pain in heel, bottom of feet, in joints of feet then goes away once I walk a bit a nd feet jusg sore.

I've always read that Bart causes foot pain. I have severe foot pain after sitting for awhile. I hobble around for about 10 yards then it goes away, till I sit again. After 3 months of treatment for Lyme and Babs my foot pain has disappeared. So in my personal experience, Bart is not the only reason for foot pain.

Well, I thought I had Bart again too due to the foot pain I was experiencing - but low and behold!!, when I started my Lyme herbs, the foot pain is gone!

I ran out of my Lyme herbs for 2 weeks, and couldn't afford to order them all until the next month, so the foot pain came back, but within 4 days of restarting the Lyme herbs the foot pain is gone again.

So I now know that Neuro Lyme can cause quite a bit of foot pain!

I had foot pain as well, and when I started treating for Bart, it went away, and I tested negative for Bart. Based on my experience and from what a lot of people report, it seems the only way to know if you have a coinfection is how you respond when you attempt to treat it.

I have foot pain from lyme and bart... For me each one feels a little different, I think I can distinguish. BART is very peculiar. It is especially acute on the bridges of the feet. Also all the little bones of the feet feel so brittle like you can't walk on them they hurt so much. With lyme it's more of a joint pain feeling... swelling and heat.. but there's enough joints in the feet area that it can really hurt! Any kind of inflammation can hurt the feet I think.

I had pain in my feet and tested negative for Bart about two months after I began treatment for Lyme. My LLMD went ahead and began treatment for Bart based upon my symptoms. Let me tell you, my foot pain is gone.

Testing is not 100% accurate.
