I got it 1 year after I was bitten by ticks. It started with my right eyelid not being able to close completely, so my eye was getting very dry, my tongue was numb, then the next day I noticed my mouth drooping.

I developed bells palsy 2/3 weeks after being bitten. I lost my sense of taste to start with, my head hurt to touch on one side and then I noticed I couldnt smile. It was so scary. I took vitamin b and had steroids.

Whoa... I just noticed my lip on one side is much lower and my eyelid is down further too. It's not as bad as the pictures on Google it's hardly noticeable. But it's still there....

My dad had it years ago for no reason and one side of his face dropped. When I had you couldnt really tell unless you really looked. I couldnt smile or blink on one side. Take a photo of yourself and have a look. My face has never been the same and I can really notice in photos.

My first symptom. Have if face numb and droopy eyebrow and lip. I was actually diagnosed with bells palsy. Mine did go away but I have other crappy symptoms to deal with.
