we all deserve 500,000 dollars or equivlent or so for people not in U.S.,

treatment so expensive, and does not always work, so one has to try another dr.


I am broke, and not sure how i am going to get better..

no one should be in this position....

yep, I lost a 6 figure job and have spend a lot of my savings already.
my work kicked me to the curb when I told them I could only work a day or two a week. my disability company denied me. gotta love it.

I ran out of money too. I just got inspired to try the Jernigan protocol. You take one botanical at a time for a few months each and then take them all together. I just ordered the first botanical and the detox for it and his book and it was like $130. I think you can do this at home. My LLND wasn't doing much except throwing darts at which antbiotics to pump me with.

I know how you feel. I have been to Hansa and tried everything else known to man and I'm still not well. I haven't been able to work in many years and we've spent all we had saved years ago in an attempt for me to get well. I was denied Disability even though I was in a wheelchair and my Dr's said I was disabled. After being denied 3 times I gave up, it took too much out of me. We ended up having to file Bankruptcy 5 years ago. I also lost my friends and family except for my husband who has stuck by me so all in all I still feel blessed. Lyme destroys a lot of lives.

My Dr. told me there are many strains of Lyme and the co-infections which is why some of us have a harder time recovering, not all treatments work for everyone. Lyme is not a one size fits all disease.

so sorry you guys , what u have been, are going through...

that is the most frustrating part, one , of them, such a gamble

my gut is being destroyed, so ill, my stomach hurts everyday... etc.

side note, i appreciate everyone who tries to advocate for change, to have this disease be collectively known as a real disease... much<3 and respect to you all seriously,

I am tired of the convulsions i have...

most days i feel so ill, how am i going to make it through

this balancing act, of supplements, chemicals to keep me functional to the next day, i feel like my kitchen counter and coffee table is part of a lab...

this disease is an expensive nightmare....

It's just not right!

Yes, wellbeautifulspirit - I know what you mean about the kitchen counter.
I am so sick and tired of seeing all the bottles on my counter...don't dare put any of them away...need the reminders...lists/notes aren't enough with my lame brain. I have to have them front and center.

I'm so done with waking up in the morning...and before i even get out of bed assessing my symptoms...before I stand up....and trying to psyche myself up for a good day...and shoving the bad thoughts out of my brain...the ones that say "Am I getting any better??? Am I overlooking something else i may have instead or in additional to lyme?"

Louise - I can sympathize - without my income, we have been going into debt. I am lucky in the fact that my employer will still take me back - even if I'm off for two years. My husband was laid off a few years prior to me getting ill...and we were just starting to normalize our finances and now this.

We'll get there, though....it just doesn't feel like it right now!
