Just looking for some input on this. No servere symptoms going on besides muscle twitching. was bit in 2008 and was diagnosed with RMSF and was treated. Recently decided to get this test done and these are the results!

How long were you treated for? Good chance the tick left you with more than just RMSF though that's bad enough. You were most likely prescribed 200mg. of Doxy which may not have eradicated everything but good thing you weren't left with a severe case. You may want to try to treat yourself naturally as I'm doing being that you have a more mild case.

i was treated doxy for 30 days and then treated in hospital with IV rocephin for 6 days and fully recovered and have been symptom free for awhile now. But here recently i have been having a lot of muscle twitching all over. All my other blood work is normal. Still show a low IgM for RMSF. But i have been told you always show it even after the infection has been treated. I don't think i have lyme becuase i just dont have a lot of symptoms besides muscle twitching and anxiety.

83-93 is suppose to be borrelia specific. Its sad we dont have better testing. If you feel you are fairly symptom free what prompted the test, curiosity? If you have, had RMSF it is possible you could have other infections but your immune system has been able to keep at bay.

Congratulations on your successful RMSF treatment!

Well, you have too many Lyme specific bands for you to have those symptoms and not have Lyme.

Bands 31, 83 & 93 are all Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto (Lyme in the strictest sense) specific.

Band 58 is believed to be Borrelia Afzelii - a European strain.

And band 45 usually appears in Ehrlichiosis.

You have not had enough treatment to be rid of the Lyme infection - it takes a minimum of 6 weeks when the only symptom is a bull's eye rash - if there are more symptoms, then more treatment is needed.

Well i have been tested for every other co-infection and they were all negative. I don't have enough symptoms to have Lyme in my opinion.

Also they are retesting band 31 to see if it was lyme that caused that positive.

One symptom is enough when you have test results that look like this - but the choice is yours.

Band 31 is a Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto specific band, just like the others that I mentioned - nothing else causes these band to be positive.

A positive on the 18 or 23 band means you have Borrellia Burgdorferi-no doubt...IND on the 83-93 means you have Borrellia
