Dr. F.

I really like her so far.

She's happy using alternative medicine in addition to abx (which she prescribes for her other patients).

She knows a lot about alternative medicine and herbs.

She says she will interpret my MTHFR tests; I just need to order the 23 and me kit.

She's willing to give me small amounts of cortisol for low adrenals as long as I get tested (salivary).

Aah, so you're the one who saw her! She told me somebody did, but obviously didn't say who. I've referred so many, I wasn't sure.

I see her too! She's done a fantastic job with my case and has a ton of knowledge. I love how she combines conventional with herbal treatment.

Where is the Dr located? I live in Raleigh. I was diagnosed with Lyme about 4 years ago. I got 21 days of antibiotics and experienced severe fatigue and unrelenting headaches. Symptoms didn't come back until January of this year. Horrible headaches that OTC meds don't even touch. Weakness, fatigue, sensitive skin, increased motion sickness, TMJ like pain, muscle cramping, numbness below the knee, insomnia/non-restful sleep, fogginess, Achey brittle feeling bones, the list goes on. I get health insurance in January and would like to see a dr to start finally feeling closer to normal.

She's in Chapel Hill.

That's awful, that you didn't get treated appropriately.

One note of warning: She does have Lyme, so sometimes she has to cancel.

She's very compassionate.

Yes, happyjo, you're basically right, except that she's a bit disorganized, and cancels quite often.

However, as far as Lyme is concerned, she really seems to know her s---.

Plus, she uses integrative medicine, as I mentioned before.

She also does ivs, but they're too expensive. However, if you live in this state, and you can afford it, there you go!

Daisy's Mom and AML94 haven't been on the forum for a couple years...and Teregram for over a year.

But, Teregram and AML94 have their emails enabled. You could try sending them an email.

Do not do cortisol, it will cause u issues, do ashwaganda it will help adrenals

A member I correspond with regularly was seeing her for a few years. There is a Dr P in Raleigh that I saw for a short stint. He is very experienced. But was way too aggressive for me. But there are lots who swear by him. If you'd like his info you can email me.
