At my wits end with my home life!!!!!!!

No one cleans up after themselves!!! Everyone leaves all the dishes dirty trash piling up floor covered for me to deal with!!! I'm sooooo sick they have noooooo consideration!!!

I know no one likes to clean or pay bills or do anything responsible but it's time to face it. We are adults living in this house. I'm sick of asking for help and getting scoffed at. It's not fair! Just because I'm the only one with a Varina doesn't mean I'm the only one who can touch the broom or the sink! You should see this place!

On top of feeling like death warms over me daily this should not be an issue. Why doesn't my family give a rats you know what?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ugh.. rant over. Feels good to get that out.

I feel the same way. My husband and 27 year old daughter who still lives with us, both work and think I should do everything around the house because I am home. I barely get out of bed these days ,and am in a lot of pain. It is very hard to do much. Don't think they get it at all. What will they do if I don't make it. They can't seem to even clean up after themselves. You are not alone feeling the way you do!

Hahaha I'm sure I'm not. I feel this way even when I'm not sick but dang! I guess I feel like my time isn't as valuable as theirs. The times I feel good I clean. The times I feel bad I rest. I'm jealous they get to play all the time and I dont. They expect me to do everything but they aren't little kids. Because I'm sick I feel like they should do more. I could be wrong

Your not wrong .If they are older or adults there is no reason they can't help more. I think it is hard for people who are not sick to under stand people who are. No matter how much I say I do not feel good or are in pain they still think I should Get up and let the dog out or wash the dishes,when they are just as capable of doing that stuff themselves. But I end up doing it anyway. It is three adults in my house .I feel bad When I can't do more like I used to but I just can't. I wish I had a job and was tired from work instead of illness. I'm actually jealous of them working and going out with friends when I can't.

I don't think it's the vagina tbh...just 2 weeks after I got sick my mom started to say that ''I should man up'' or ''what kind of man are you'' etc...

Most people are just self-interested ******s and will lash out at you when you're no longer useful or if you start to become a burden.

This was one of the hardest things to deal with for me, maybe more so then the illness itself. That feeling that noone has your back.

That's exactly what is. I feel like no one has my back. If my fiance is hungover I take care of him even though I know I feel worse than him.

I don't think it's fair of me to expect someone to do everything for me. I feel like if we had a more understood disease we would get cut more slack. Like heart problems or leukemia or a broken leg or something. It's totally invisible.

I'm left feeling guilty for needing more rest a lot of the time. It's always been my natu re to take care of people. I've always been even a little too empathic. Maybe my feelings get hurt because my expectations are too high.

Either way it's really nice to have somewhere to go complain to people that truly understand. I'll never tell a sick person to "be positive" ever again that's for sure!!
