Made it through tough times - and I'm ok!

When my dad passed away a couple weeks ago, my nervous system symptoms ramped up and I was worried about a set-back. But I'm managing and the preparations for the memorial service went well. The symptoms ramping up only lasted a couple days. Many family members came together - some old wounds/rifts were mended and something really good came out of the sad time.
My dad is smiling from up above that this was the result. We had saved some money by doing some of the things ourselves, so after the service, I invited the family to Boston Pizza for dinner - and all 25 of us had a fun time together. I actually had a good day symptom wise - opposite of what I anticipated.

Today I am not suffering symptom wise anymore than I was - so Im happy about that.

Wow—good for you Girlie. Your surely needed the family time and the creation of new memories. I'm sure your father is so, so proud of you. And we all here are just as proud—knowing very well exactly how much you accomplished. Now you can relax a little, breathe, spend a little private time with your father and mourn in our own quiet way. And refocus on you and your health.

Good to have you back—you are such a great cheerleader for other posters here. I wish I had your consistency!
