Ohhhh ok. Well today is the second day I've been migraine free, so I'm going to keep taking them. But if I start getting a lot of migraines again, then it's a different issue.
Georgia, do you have any idea why anything I take for adrenals gives me migraines? Some of these supplements are supposed to stop migraines! Even the danged Milky Oat Seed gives me migraines. I still take it in very small amounts to help me wind down at 2:00 a.m. or whenever it is I all of a sudden get energy!
:sad
It seems that anything that remotely has to do with blood vessels gives me migraines too, like Niacin (which is also supposed to help).
I REALLY, really need to drive to Hickory to do the salivary adrenals test so I can get the Cortisol. Unless the Cortisol gives me migraines, that is.
Oh and all the brain stuff, like Vinpocetine and Huperzine, give me migraines as well. So that means I have to remain cognitively-challenged.

I'm not sure. My belief is that these pathogens have evolved over the millennia to survive. They change our genes through SNP's, they can decrease our immune response, they can decrease our adrenal and thyroid functioning, they even sequester metals to survive. All of this just to stay alive against the greatest army ever created, our immune system. When your adrenals start working and blood flow is increased, pathogens die, metals and toxins are released, and you can't process the free radicals that are produced and you suffer. Exercise would do the same thing if you could exercise. The limiting factor in treating what some of us have is our ability to handle the oxidative stress that is produced. Your ability to handle that stress is not good IMO. That comes from genetics and environment. You could have a house full of mold, water filled with fluoride and other contaminants, or live in an area where the air is polluted with organic acids or other toxic by-products. All of this contributes to what your methylation pathway must endure in addition to the pathogen load. It's a combination of everything. Killing the pathogens may not be the answer for some people. It depends on what your body can handle so you need to start reducing intake of things that negatively affect your body. Don't drink out of plastic, don't use dryer sheets, cleaning chemicals, or perfumes. Don't use aluminum based anti-antiperspirants or cook in aluminum or Teflon lined pans. Don't use fluoride based toothpaste, don't eat foods that contain contaminants or things that cause you adverse effects. I'm not there so I can't tell you the answer, but there is an answer. Eliminating things one by one until your body can handle eliminating the pathogen load is the key. Saunas, detoxing techniques, anti-oxidants, fasting in some situations, vitamin supplements, all of these can help. They can cause toxin release and problems as well. Gradually building them up over time may help decrease your pain and suffering.
