The spasms as I mentioned. Since they are uneven, they bend the spine. Bad ones are not "normal " spasms that normal people get, they are "events". You feel it coming, you feel it leave. Over time the spine can get twisted. 10th grade physics. This is similar to MS.
That makes sense. But doesn't that take a long time?
My symptoms came on suddenly 2 years ago and 2-3 months later I was sent to physical therapy for my spine issues. The symptoms did include muscle spasms, especially in my stomach and lower back area. I remember my stomach muscles being hard as rocks during the first few weeks of health problems. I don't exercise so it wasn't my 6-pack lol.
So if Lyme caused my scoliosis, it would mean I had Lyme for years?
I actually suspected MS before due to my symptoms. Had two MRI that showed up okay. They were without contrasts though so MS is not 100% excluded.
