I had a phone consult with a new person today. she is someone who healed her very bad lyme and co-s and now educates and teaches people about healing their lyme.
I am trying to talk to each person I can because each time I do I get a new level of understanding!
Each person has their own angle and approach to this and it is all a lot of learning. She healed without antibitoics.
Her things she told me is--
-rebuild the depletions in the body that the lyme (and treatment) has caused
-have some kind of bacteria killing agent ( ie herbals or rife or homeopathic or abx, but she didn't use abx)
-repair damage ( such as for me nerve damage from th abx)
she said for me it sounds like bartonella is the dominant thing.
I agree with this based on the anxiety-- for example I took ONE day off the rifampin yesterday and lots of anxiety returned today. Weird that my MD dr seemed to think the bartonella is under control as it clearly is not.
She said one of the reasons I relapsed so quickly when I stopped the abx before was because my system was depleted. Specifically my adrenals, and my neurotransmitters in my brain.
For me she recommended:
-an adrenal support formula ( she is getting back to me on which one)
-glycine- she said this really helps with anxiety
-lots of magnesium
-vitamin d
-amino acids- from braggs ( something sort of like soy sauce and I use it already), high protein, fish oil, flax seed oil ( but I already get lots of good fats and use almond oil and eat lots of organic meat and oils and butter so I am not sure I need that- maybe)
She is a homeopath and has cured manyo f their bartonella ( including herself) with rebuilding the system and a homeopathis bartonella remedy.
I am not very drawn to homeopathy,
She said my misty meadows herbal things sounds great and I should keep on it.
She said I should keep on the abx for a few more weeks while we rebuild my system with the supplements, and then wean off them and move only to the herbals and support supplements.
She was not familiar with the houttuynia.
When she clarified for me that it really sounds like bartonella- I agree with her- it made me want to finally start the houttuynia tea. I have been waiting to start it while I am getting back used to the abx and the other herbals-- but I am ready to start on it now.
I am more inclined to try that for bartonella than homeopathics.
So she said it took her years but she was so sick from lyme- in a wheel chair- and over a few years with building up her system and nourishing the right things, plus she did the cowden protocol and homeopathy, she is now 100% healthy.
So this is another piece of the puzzle for me to consider!
She said the glycine will help immensely with anxiety so that is encouraging.
