Just from all the reading I have done, I believe that bacteria, and the toxins they release, are negatively charged ... Bentonites clays, red clays, chlorella and zeolites are also negatively charged, which would make them a bad choice for detoxing from lyme, bartonella, etc
The clay may have other benefits ( detoxing heavy metals, or providing minerals ), but I don't see them as a good way to get rid of bacterial toxins .... I could be missing something here though
One of the reason Cholestyramine is indicated is that it is highly positively charged ...
